Welcome! The Banff Park Lodge Hotel Collective operates 3 hotel properties, Banff Park Lodge, Bow View Lodge, and Peaks Hotel & Suites. Within the Banff Park Lodge property, we operate 2 restaurants, La Terrazza and Crave Mountain Grill. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering 30-40 hours of work per week.
The wage is $15.00-$15.75 per hour based on experience.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to provide memorable dining experiences which exceed our guests’ expectations,
Maintain a full knowledge of all food and beverage menus in the restaurant and all other special promotions in the hotel,
Serve, clear and re-set tables in a timely manner,
Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines,
Assist with in-room dining orders,
Demonstrate a complete understanding of the restaurant policies, procedures and service standards,
Maintain a clean and well-stocked environment for our staff and guests,
Handle guest concerns, responding quickly and professionally, and involving management when necessary,
Operate all restaurant equipment in a safe and proper manner,
Follow all safety, security, and sanitation policies and procedures at all times, namely when handling food and beverages,
Follow the hotel’s telephone etiquette standards,
Walk and stand throughout the shift, occasionally lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs., and frequently bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling,
And other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate:

Can commit to at least 6 months of employment
Previous bartending experience required,
Previous Food and Beverage experience is required,
Working knowledge of Point of Sale System preferred
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and a charismatic team player
Proficient in the English language, second language is an asset
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Flexible in working hours
