Front Desk Night Audit Relief Clerk

We are looking for a Night Audit Relief Clerk to work one PM shift and two overnight shifts at the Banff Park Lodge and two overnight shifts at the Bow View Lodge.

Duties include:

Preparing end-of-day reports and ensuring all totals balance

Performing end-of-day closing procedures

Being the Manager on Duty from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am to respond to guest and staff concerns

The ideal candidate:

Has 1 to 2 years previous hotel front desk experience with night audit experience an asset

Is an independent worker who requires little to no supervision while on shift

Is a problem-solver who understands the responsibilities of being the person in charge

Appreciates working nights to have days free to pursue other interests

Journeyman Electrician

Required to maintain all aspects of hotel electrical systems and to assist with general hotel maintenance and renovations.

The ideal candidate:

Has their Canadian certified Electrician's Journeyman ticket

Maintains a clean, class 5 Alberta driver's license

Is physically fit

Has previous troubleshooting experience in a commercial workplace

Can make quick, independent decisions and requires minimal supervision

Is able to provide documented work history with references

Dishwasher

Morning and evening shifts required

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds

Chef de Partie - Tournand

The ideal candidate:

Has a minimum of two years experience in hotel restaurant cooking

Is comfortable preparing meals for individuals as well as for functions of up to 500 people

Is able to move seamlessly between all food preparation stations, as needed

Pays close attention to details while working under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Has Cook's Journeyman papers or equivalent

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the First Cook will be responsible for daily meal preparation for a la carte and buffet service.

Apprenticeship or cook's certification an asset

Fine Dining Server

Required for our Terrace Restaurant

Previous finer-dining service experience preferred

Evening shifts only, part-time to full-time hours

Bartender

Required for our fine-dining restaurant and lounge - The Terrace

Previous bartending experience required

30 to 40 hours per week, daytime and/or evening shifts

Must be familiar with North American mixed drink preparation
